With the aim of building harmony through religious harmony and preventing violent extremism, the awareness of 75 community leaders of Gampaha district was held on  February 26, 2024 at the Akkarapanaha Samruddhigama Youth Development Center. The activity program for religious harmony is implemented by the Sri Lanka National Peace Board and the organization and partnership is by the Community Brotherhood Organization.    

YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT - Day 02

Award ceremony of 100 Sinhalese, Tamil and Muslim youth who studied Tamil and Sinhalese languages in the two Tamil and Sinhala language classes held in Negombo in accordance with the 90-hour National Languages Equality Advancement Project (NLEAP) curriculum under the Youth Engagement for Language Rights Promotion Program, It was held at Uva Management Development Institute in the 29th and 30th July 2023. Mr. Tirunaukarusu Marimuttu, Deputy Director of the National Languages Equality Advancement Project and Mr. Nias Raskin, Training and Language Consultant Specialist of the National Languages Equality Advancement Project, Professor Siri Hettige, Director of the Center for Development Research and Intervention and Namal Weerasena, Administrative Secretary participated as invited guests. Youth Language Class Student's Evaluation Session And Religious Palces Visit

Under the Youth Engagement for Language Rights Promotion Program, a program to share experiences and study religious places with the aim of developing inter religious support among Sinhalese, Tamil and Muslim youth who studied Tamil and Sinhalese languages was conducted under the auspices of the Center for Development Research and Intervention (CDRI) under the leadership of the Community Brotherhood Organization.
