Award ceremony of 100 Sinhalese, Tamil and Muslim youth who studied Tamil and Sinhala languages in the two Tamil and Sinhala language classes held in Negombo in accordance with the 90-hour National Languages Equality Advancement Project (NLEAP) curriculum under the Youth Engagement for Language Rights Promotion Program, It was held at Uva Management Development Institute in the 29th and 30th July 2023. On the first day of the program, the field trip was to climb Namunukula mountain and at night, the talent show of the youth was also done. Negombo Community Brotherhood Organization, Weligama Voice Our Talent and Kantale Shakthi Foundation partnered for this. The entire program was sponsored by the Center for Development Research and Intervention.
