Tamil Language Teaching Course

Community Brotherhood Organization started a Tamil language teaching course in Negombo on 17.07.2022 under the "Language for Reconciliation" project of Sri Lanka National Peace Council. A group of local civil society activists, Ayurvedic doctors, women leaders, youth, government officials and community leaders participated in this.

Under the theme "Language for Reconciliation", Community Brotherhood organized two focus group discussions under the auspices of the National Peace Council of Sri Lanka 15 women participated in the first discussion and 19 women and men participated in the second discussion and they were two groups consisting of civil society representatives, government officials, women leaders, Ayurvedic doctors, youth, Muslim and Tamil community leaders.  

Awareness program on ILO Convention 190 (C190) against violence and harassment at the workplace.

Community Brotherhood Organization (CBO) in collaboration with the  Institute of Social Development (ISD) Kandy conducted an awareness program of ILO Convention 190 (C190) against violence and harassment at the workplace.  

Training on Psychological First Aid for Interfaith Leaders

Training on Psychological First Aid for Interfaith Leaders on 6th July 2022 at Negombo. Under the project "Building Resilience And Vaccine Awareness (BRAVE)" The lecture was conducted by Dr. David I. Davamony (PsyD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist) Sponsored by  ADRA Sri Lanka Organized by Community Brotherhood Organization

The New Youth Committee

ප්‍රජා සහෝදරත්වය සංවිධානයේ හවුල්කාරීත්වයෙන් ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාතික සාම මණ්ඩලය මඟින් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන ආගමික සහජීවනය සඳහා වන ක්‍රියාකාරීත්වය (ARC) ව්‍යාපෘතිය මඟින් 2022 ජුනි 12 වන දින මීගමුව ප්‍රාදේශීය අන්තර් ආගමික කමිටුවෙහි නව තරුණ කමිටුව පිහිටුවන ලදි. The New Youth Committee of the Negombo Local Inter Religious Committee was established on 12 June 2022 by the Action for Religious Coexistence (ARC) project implemented by the National Peace Council of Sri Lanka in partnership with the Community Brotherhood Organization.
