Ongoing Tamil Language Course for LIRC Members & Coexistence Society in Negombo

Under the auspices of the National Peace Council of Sri Lanka , the National Languages Equality Advancement Project (NLEAP) was initiated under the leadership of the Community Brotherhood Organization, under which the objectives are to strengthen the official language policy, learn and promote the second official language. Under that, a Tamil language course for learning and promoting the Tamil language is currently being held in Negombo. 40 people including professionals, social activists, teachers, Ayurvedic doctors, government officials will participate in this.  

Awareness workshop on health promotion and building community resilience

An awareness workshop to educate community leaders on health promotion and building community resilience during epidemics was held by Community Brotherhood Organization on 27 September 2022 in Negombo with the support of Adra Sri Lanka Organization's BRAVE project. The lecture was conducted by Dr. Novil Wijesekara   

Interfaith Dialogue on Language Issues

  The Community Brotherhood Organization and the Center for Development Research and Interventions jointly organized an interfaith dialogue on language issues on 25.09.2022 in Negombo. More than 50 young people including young religious leaders, civil servants, community leaders and students participated in this.
